Megan, Beloved Friend

11 Year Old Megan
The joy of this holiday season was dampened by the loss of our beloved Megan. She became very ill late on Christmas Eve. Although we rushed her to the local pet ER on Christmas morning and again to our own vet the day after Christmas Day, she departed this life in the arms of our daughter who helped us raise her. She was beloved by all who knew her and our years with her were greatly enriched by her sweet disposition and devotion to her family. No more kisses on that velvet face... no more little doggie kisses on my chin... Good-bye my sweet old girl. We will miss you always!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Doris. I know they become family so quickly...

Doris,

How very sad that your Megan has passed. You have spoken of her often in the past and I know this is a very sad time for you all. To have lost her over the holidays makes the loss even more poignant. I love the painting you did of her, what a beautiful girl she was.

God bless you as you go through your grieving.

I'm so sorry, Doris. We went through the same thing with a family Cocker Spaniel several years ago. It all happened in about 24 hours. My heart aches for you and your loss. Hugs, my friend.
