Through the Years

14" x 11" Watercolor & Ink
300 lb. Fabriano Artistico Cold Press Paper

This one was fun to do. I created this painting and the Tulips in Pitcher oil painting for an exhibit beginning this Friday at The Art Institue & Gallery. In this painting, the same person is shown at differing stages of life starting with the carefree days of the very young child when one has few worries. Then she is in her middle years when all you seem to do is worry especially about physical appearance. Finally she is content to soak up the sun, enjoying the blue of the sky and the feel of the ocean...hopefully much wiser and more at peace. Now she is thankful to have a peaceful moment to think about her many blessings and about her journey to this point. If you are interested in seeing it in person, check it out at the AI&G in Salisbury, MD May 30 - June 21st. Thanks for looking!
