10" x 20" Oil on Gallery Canvas

As a photographer and artist, I am simply fascinated by birds. This great white egret with its long legs and neck might be expected to be awkward in movement but quite to the contrary, these gorgeous creatures are graceful and majestic in form and in movement. Click on the image for a better view. This is a scene from Assateague Island. This painting is currently a part of my one woman show in the Foyer Gallery at the Art Institute & Gallery in Salisbury, MD. The show closes November 15th. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this painting.
