Digital Art - Abandoned FarmWhat a lovely way to spend the afternoon! Lunch at the Atlantic Hotel front porch on a balmy September afternoon is a nice way to catch up with a friend. A delicious salad and warm crusty bread along with a nice glass of Shiraz is sure to set the tone for a wonderful visit! This artwork was among several that I have currently hanging at The Globe Theater's Balcony Gallery in Berlin, MD. I'm happy to say it has been sold and has a new home!
Check out the Globe's website. I am featured in the artist section!

These belong to the same individual. I'm thinking he is pretty keen on the color red. What do you think? Click on images for a better view.

These shots were all taken earlier this week along the Pocomoke Nature Trail with the forest and river as a backdrop. The autumn leaves were past their prime but there were still some beautiful colors to see. Hope you enjoy this up close and personal experience with nature! I adore photographing nature and my artist's eye cannot resist shooting the most glorious of mother nature's colorful creations. Flowers are pleasing in so many ways. They are certainly beautiful to behold and are most often delightful to smell. My neighbors often find me hovering over their flower beds with my camera focused on whatever is currently blooming in their yard. There is an added bonus in a couple of these too! I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I did photographing them! Clicking on the images will enlarge them for a closer view.
This day was extremely hot. It was August, in the middle of a 95 degree day with 90% humidity. The gulls that congregate on one of the docks that I frequent were irritable and obviously suffering from the unbearable heat. Most of them were perched quietly with their mouths gaped open, like the poor guy below, but these two were fighting over the spot on this post. They looked exactly how I felt that day...miserable! This was a beautiful crisp February Day. As you can see these guys look quite comfortable under these conditions. It had snowed overnight but was warming up nicely. What a difference in their demeanor! Gulls fascinate me so you will be seeing more of them in future posts.
